CENTRESTAGE presents a double bill of the one act plays “A Mother’s Voice” and “Second Person Narrative”. The first is a powerful and hypnotic piece, following one woman’s journey from wilful innocence to horrified experience in a fictitious South American state, dealing with the subject of Los Desaparecidos – ‘the disappeared’. In complete contrast, “Second Person Narrative” is a very modern play: heart-warming and often hilarious, consisting of scenes which capture fragments of a single character’s life, from birth to death.
